TRIBES. The definitive jetpack shooter.
@"I really want to know how people looking at that little screen can say it looks like KZ2 (not that is a bad thing). If talking about art-style thats a given, but I cant say much about game fidelity."
Game fidelity? It's a 1 inch square that takes up less than 20% of a sub-standard resolution video. How can you say anything about the game fidelity?
The only thing you can really say about it is that there are in fact jet packs.
whatever you have to tell yourself to sleep at night.
It depends on the judge you get. Simply remaking something doesn't mean you aren't breaking a copyright.
I can't remember 100% of the details, but I think M$/Rare own the goldeneye game, but Nintendo owns the distribution rights to the game or something like that.
The definitely do not care. We're another point on a graph. If they can make the graph go up they'll do it.
You think if there were some way for any of these companies to make a billion dollars by kicking your family out of your house legally they wouldn't do it? You're only fooling yourself.
How is MS arrogant? I haven't seen anything close to the "Our fans would buy an empty box if we sold it to them" statements we saw from Sony.
And how is MS trying to monopolize the industry? Did a third of the market suddenly equal monopoly? It's almost a 10th of the market if you include handhelds.
They're monopolizing the industry the same way alta vista is monopolizing search.
it depends on the TV. Shutter glasses should work with any TV in theory. Some 3dTvs use polarized light, which is what you'd use at the theater, and those are a lot cheaper.
E for All replaced the public portion of E3, and I'm grateful. With the public there it made it hard for the media and industry to actually get to see everything. These events are already pretty packed with just industry professionals and the media.
It is still pretty easy to get in though. Just start a blog or work for a school newspaper and you can get in as part of the media. Kinda a bullshit way to get in, but you can still get in.
So out of curiosity, where are all these 360 fanboys that storm PS3 threads that I keep hearing about?
How is Gow3 like kill bill? Because people get killed with melee weapons in both?
"As if 360 fanboys aren't guilty of doing the EXACT SAME THING IN PS3 ARTICLES."
significantly less so. Don't believe me? go into the top 5 stories in each section and count the number of pro-sony and pro-360 comments in the first 10 comments in each article. You will be surprised.
I did it one day and there were on average close to twice as many pro-sony comments in both sections.
the made it better with a significantly more clumsy controller.
The only thing Move does a lot better is that they are staying away from having controllers connected by cords, but that will end up costing a pretty penny in the long run.
I'm curious how many move controllers you can use at once. to match the number of inputs with the wii or natal you'd need 8 move controllers.
(4 players using each hand)
Did you watch the video?
At the end they say they are showing their full titles at e3 as well as unvieling natal's new consumer name.
safeties used to lead with the helmet a lot. And a defensive lineman will hit a quarterback as hard as he can given the option. The point is not to give them the option to hit you hard at least without getting a penalty.
The reason you don't see huge hits as often in the NFL probably has a lot more to do with the fact that the players are actually better at football strategy and know not to put themselves in situations where they get lit up than the game being a poor simu...
Even for CG that's pretty awesome.
Can't wait to see gameplay though. I almost jizzed when I saw this at GDCAs.
How is move better than that? That's exactly what it is.
MS bought them and the patent, so it is made by ms. Unless you'd like to say the first person to make a digital camera makes the eye toy or the first person to make a transistor made the playstation.
If they don't then Move will rest-assuredly fail.
They didn't copy the eye toy. The eye toy is just a camera. Natal uses a color camera and an IR depth sensing camera, which is entirely new.
2 PSmove controllers supports 2 players for some games (1 for others).
Natal can register a whole body on 4 players.
I think the hardest part with games where you have to hit stuff (baseball would be similar) is figuring out where the ball is in relation to the character.
With 3D if they push them together, it would be very cool, but it's hard to gather when to swing regardless of technology when you're using 2D visuals.
